Terms and Conditions

Thank you for using the trendybaby.co.uk web site. At trendybaby.co.uk we aim to provide quality products, product knowledge and outstanding customer service to all our customers. Here are the conditions of sale so that you are aware of all the important details before you place your order, please ensure you have read and agree with them before you order from us. We provide products and services through our web site which are provided on the basis of these terms and conditions. In return for using and benefiting from our web site you agree to provide true, accurate and current information about yourself where required.

We have taken great care to check all specifications; weight, colours, descriptions, sizes etc. However, our suppliers reserve the right to alter specifications and make improvements to their products without notice. Therefore all details are to be taken as approximate. Please be aware that colours can appear different on the computer than in reality, this can be caused by your computer settings. We would always recommend that you inspect the product before you buy.

Price's and Payment

The price you pay is the price displayed on this website at the time we receive your order. If prices increase or decrease after you have ordered and paid there will be no alteration to the price.

While we try and ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.

 

Payment methods are as follows:

Most major Credit / Debit cards and PayPal payments can be taken online using the secure VBV and Master Card Secure Code technologies. Please be aware that we do not accept American Express Credit Cards. If paying by Paypal, we can then only deliver to your Paypal confirmed address, if your Paypal address is unconfirmed then unfortunately we will have to cancel your order and refund you your money. If paying by card, we can only deliver to your cards registered address, this is for security measures for you and for us.

(Please note that when you purchase any Travel System  where the pushchair seat unit can be removed, the seat unit is supplied free of charge. All you pay for is the chassis and car seat).

Delivery Times and Charges
We operate a 24 hour (Monday to Friday, not Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holiday) courier service which means you should normally receive your product the next working day if you order before
12 noon. Once your product has left us we have no control of the delivery date. Please ensure that you will be in to accept the delivery, if you are not please do not order. In some cases due to circumstances beyond our control delivery can take up to 2 working days. 

Some more remote areas of Scotland and Northern Ireland delivery might takes 2 to 4 days to arrive and may incur an additional postage charge. We would notify you of this before dispatching your order.

PLEASE NOTE: Unfortunately due to our carriers we cannot deliver to the UK Channel Islands (all areas), Scottish Highlands and Islands post codes: AB13-14, AB30-39, AB41-45, AB51-56, IM, IV4-9, IV10-14, IV16-18, IV20-28, IV30-32, IV36, IV40-56HS, KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH17-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, TR21-25 and ZE, if you are unsure, please phone our shop on 01275 342111, before buying.

All deliveries must be signed for as (UNCHECKED), if they are not we are unable to replace any damage caused by the carrier.

Risk of loss and damage of products passes to you on the date when the products are delivered or on the date of first attempted delivery by our carrier. Once our carrier state that an attempted delivery has been made you are responsible, regardless of any card being left.

We will send products out in accordance with the time scale above, if you wish to trace your product please contact us.

 

In the event that you are not in at the delivery address when the courier attempts to deliver, the driver may leave a card with instructions to call the depot, which must be responded to as soon as possible. You can arrange to collect your parcel from the couriers local depot (you must take I.D. with you).  The parcel will be kept at the depot for a maximum of five days before it is returned to Trendybaby.co.uk. If it is returned to us we may sign it in on your behalf however we will not accept liability for it. You will be liable for the courier charges incurred if it is returned to us and Trendybaby.co.uk will require payment for any charges that they have incurred prior to re-posting.


Our initial postage costs are as follows;

£4.99 on orders up to £24.99
Free of charge on orders £25.00 and above
These prices are for
U.K. Mainland and Isle of Wight only.
 
Postage to
Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and certain parts of Scotland is £15.00.

Unfortunately at the moment we are unable to deliver items to Southern Ireland as we haven't got a European account with our carriers, we are currently looking in to this. We only deliver to UK locations.

 
*Anti-fraud security measure: We will only deliver the goods purchased from Trendybaby.co.uk to the billing address of the card holder when the purchase is funded with a Credit or Debit card. If the purchase is funded using PayPal we will only send goods to the "confirmed" address on your PayPal account. If we receive an order with an "unconfirmed" Paypal address we will refund the amount debited and cancel the order without prior notice.

Out of Stock Items
If an item that you order is out of stock we will contact you as soon as possible (within 24 hours Monday to Friday) and let you know how long it is likely to take for your order to be fulfilled. Then once the goods arrive in stock we will notify you that they are being dispatched. Alternatively you have the right to cancel your order on notification that the item is out of stock and a full refund will be given.

Cancellations
As an Internet Consumer you have the right to cancel your order within 7 days of receiving the goods, thus giving you time to inspect and consider your purchase. After 7 days it will be deemed that the goods have been inspected and are of satisfactory quality. Your cancellation notice must be received in writing via fax or e-mail and your order number or the date of purchase must be quoted so that we can identify your order promptly. You must take reasonable care of the product and its packaging whilst it is in your possession. The product must be in its original packaging and taped with clear tape and in a saleable condition please DO NOT write directly on the box, it must be returned at the expense of the consumer. Your original order payment (less our postage costs in getting it to you) will then be refunded as soon as possible (at the latest within 30 working days).

Please be aware that pushchairs should only be tried indoors to decide whether they are suitable. If used outdoors prior to notification of cancellation we will consider that you have accepted the product and you will not be able to return it. Although products may be listed with free delivery we have incurred costs that will claim back from you at the rate of £30 for each box sent and £10 for each box thereafter.

Warranty and Refunds
In the unlikely event you incur a problem with the product we have supplied, please contact Trendybaby.co.uk immediately by phone or e-mail (see Contact Page). You will be required to provide a copy of your receipt, please note that proof of a payment is not sufficient. Our suppliers will not repair any item without a copy of your receipt (for security reason we do not keep your details on file).

If it is decided that the goods need to be returned for inspection, this will be at the purchaser's expense. Normally, products are sent to our suppliers for inspection and if it is found that a manufacturing fault exists this will be rectified at our (or our supplier's) expense. At all times, we consider our supplier's decision in relation to complaints as final, as they have more experience in these matters than ourselves. In the event that a fault develops which is not due to a manufacturing fault, the cost of repair and transport will be at the purchaser's expense. We reserve the right to send spares for minor faults, we will require any faulty part to be returned prior to replacement parts being sent.

 

All our products have a warranty period of six months from the date of purchase regardless of any term that the manufacture may offer.

 
Privacy
We are well aware that consumers are often concerned about their details being supplied to third parties and we would confirm that on no occasion will this occur. We hold on file purely the minimum details required to make transactions and provide relevant details to credit / debit card companies (banks) and our transport companies as per their trading conditions. We do not pass details of our customers to any other party. Details of customers are kept on secure files and include name, address, contact phone number etc. and possibly credit or debit card details. These are kept for the minimum time required by law. We may from time to time send e-mails to our customers to promote our special offers, it you do not wish to be on the list please contact us. For our customer's convenience, cookies are used on this site.

All products ordered and delivery costs (if applicable) must be paid for in full (and authorized) prior to goods being dispatched. If there is a problem with processing your payment we will contact you as soon as possible.
